23mm Thickness — Fits Most Switch Boxes
Slightly thicker than Low Profile at 23mm, but fits comfortably inside most standard Indian switch boxes. The extra thickness accommodates the cost-optimized design that brings the price down significantly.
10A Relay Per Channel
Each channel handles up to 10A — enough for ceiling lights, LED panels, tube lights, ceiling fans, exhaust fans, table fans, TVs, set-top boxes, phone chargers, and most general household loads. For heavy loads like ACs and geysers, use the NEXA HD 25A variant or the Low Profile range.
Switch + Fan Combo Variants
NEXA is the only retrofit range with integrated switch + fan regulator combinations. Most Indian rooms have both lights and a fan on the same switchboard. Combo variants give you smart control for both in a single module.
The fan regulator is capacitive with 5-step speed control — no humming noise. Fan speed can be scheduled: reduce to step 2 at midnight, increase to step 4 at 5 AM automatically.

2-Way Switching
All NEXA switches support two-way switching, allowing you to control the same light from two different switch positions. This is particularly common in Indian bedrooms, where a door switch and a bedside switch are used, and in stairways.

Is NEXA strong enough for my AC?
Standard NEXA variants (10A) are designed for lights, fans, and general loads — not ACs or geysers. For AC and geyser control, use the NEXA HD 25A variant (₹1,319, supports up to 25A) or the Low Profile range with 16A relays per channel.
What is the difference between NEXA and Low Profile?
Both install behind your existing switchboard. Low Profile is thinner (16mm vs 23mm) and has higher load capacity (16A vs 10A per channel). NEXA is more affordable (from ₹648 vs ₹936) and offers switch + fan combo variants (1+1, 2+1, 4+1). Use Low Profile for heavy loads, NEXA for lights and fans.
Do I need to change my wiring?
No. The module connects to your existing live, load, and neutral wires. No new wiring is needed. A regular electrician can install it in 16 minutes.
Connectivity
Can I schedule my fan to change speed?
Yes. NEXA fan regulator variants (1+1, 2+1, 4+1) support scheduled speed changes. Set fan to reduce to step 2 at midnight and increase to step 4 at 5 AM. Fan speed can be included in scenes and controlled via app, voice, or routines.
What happens if my WiFi goes down?
The physical switches function normally. If you’re connected to the same local WiFi network, app control is also available. Timers and schedules that have been programmed in advance will continue to operate from the cloud. However, remote access (controlling from outside your home) requires an internet connection.
What does the NEXA HD 25A with power monitoring do ?
The power monitoring variant tracks real-time voltage, current, power consumption (watts and units), and power factor. See how many units your AC consumed today, this week, or this month. When power factor drops below 0.8 — indicating motor efficiency loss — you get a servicing alert. The regular HD 25A provides smart control without energy monitoring.

Is it safe? What about electrical shocks?
The module uses an isolated SMPS power supply — input and output circuits are electrically separated. Even if you touch the output terminal, the isolation prevents shock. Built-in surge protection up to 4KV protects both the module and your appliances from voltage spikes.
