Do touch panels work without internet?

Yes. The physical touch on the touch panel responds instantly without internet. Schedules, timers, and auto-off run locally on the smart touch switch. Local app control works on WiFi. Only remote access from outside requires internet. Your touch panel never stops working because of connectivity issues.

What happens if my WiFi goes down?

The physical switches continue to function as intended. If you are connected to the same local Wi-Fi network, app control is also operational. Timers and schedules that have been previously programmed will continue to execute with internet. However, remote access (controlling from outside your home) requires internet connectivity.
